Overview

Provide strategic and operational leadership for facilities management across the Kingdom Health campus, ensuring safe, reliable, complaint, and sustainable facility operations that support patient care, education, research, and administrative functions. Drive effective management of facilities, infrastructure, and digital campus systems to support organizational objectives, operational excellence, and long-term campus resilience. Collaborate with clinical, academic, and operational teams to ensure facilities remain aligned with current and future organizational needs while enhancing the experience of patients, students, staff, and visitors.

Job Description

Pre-Opening Responsibilities (2026-2027):

  • Lead Facilities Management planning and operational readiness activities to ensure the campus is prepared for the delivery of healthcare, academic, and administrative services.
  • Oversee facility commissioning, testing, inspection, handover, and acceptance of buildings, infrastructure, and critical systems.
  • Establish facilities management frameworks, including maintenance programs, asset registers, operating procedures, staffing plans, and service contracts.
  • Support the implementation of Digital Campus initiatives and systems by ensuring the integration of facilities technologies, smart building systems, and digital facilities management platforms in compliance with applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and health and safety requirements.



Post-Opening Responsibilities (2027+):

  • Lead the operation, maintenance, and performance of campus facilities, infrastructure, utilities, HVAC, electrical, fire and life safety, medical gas, and other critical building systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
  • Manage asset lifecycle programs, maintenance strategies, facility budgets, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Oversee facility-related contracts, service providers, procurement activities, and capital improvement projects.
  • Drive effective management and continuous improvement of physical and digital campus infrastructure, ensuring reliable, resilient, and technology-enabled environments that support patient care, education, research, and future organizational growth.
  • Develop and maintain emergency preparedness, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Lead and develop facilities personnel while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, customer-focused facility services.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive facilities management experience, preferably within healthcare, higher education, or other complex institutional environments.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, building codes, accreditation standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale facilities operations and technical infrastructure systems.
  • Experience managing HVAC and other critical building systems, as well as CAFM, CMMS, BMS, or other digital facilities management platforms.
  • Professional certifications such as IFMA CFM, FMP, PMP, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Understanding of sustainability and environmental management practices that support efficient, resilient, and responsible healthcare and academic campus operations.

  • Project & Asset Management: Leads facility projects, commissioning, operational readiness activities, and asset lifecycle management to support long-term infrastructure performance.
  • Financial & Contract Management: Manages budgets, procurement activities, service contracts, and vendor performance to optimize value and operational outcomes.
  • Digital Facilities Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Utilizes digital technologies and data-driven insights to enhance facility performance while building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
